The Hotel La Tambora Beach Resort is located on the peninsula of
Samaná, near a small town of fishermen; it lies on a 30.000 m˛ area. The
colonial-style buildings are located on a tropical park and are
connected one to each other by sidewalks made of stone, also leading to
the 3 swimming-pools, to the Jacuzzi, to the Italian
restaurant, and to the beach.

The restaurant at La Tambora Beach Resort, covered with beautiful
palm leaves finely interlaced, is located over a wide 100 seats terrace.
Here, all the Creole specialties as fresh fish, lobster, meat, exotic
fruits, fresh vegetables and fine pastas can be tasted.
Bars
There is a cocktail-bar, where typical cocktails and other drinks are at
the bar.
Near the Jacuzzi there is the Bar La Guira, for a sandwich or a
fast meal.
Things you can do from La Tambora Beach Resort
The possible tours, from Hotel La Tambora, are several: the
small, beautiful tropical island Cayo Levantado is reached with a
15 mins. sail. It is a very well known centre with hotels and efficient
lodging structures.
The organization of Tambora rents both 125cc Yamaha endure motorcycles,
and jeeps 4x4; the four-wheels motorcycles are amazingly new. On
request, horse rides for experts and beginners are available.
Another interesting visit is the "Suhai Hitises" National Park:
sailing through Samana bay, visiting the ancient "Taino" sites and
caverns decorated with pre-Colombian graffiti, the whole immersed in a
tropical forest of mangroves.
Visit to the "Cascade El Limon": 30 Km far from Samans, driving
through the hills; then, 40 mins. on foot or horse-riding through
tracks, reaching the main fall (60 mt. high), where a dive into the
crystal waters is finally achieved
