Perceiving as many international tour operators coming into the country with no DMC representation  in the Dominican Republic witch was still in the process of organization and institutionalization. He communicated this idea to Maria Grazia Battaglia another professional with extensive experience in tourism and at that time was working as the Area Chief of I Viaggi del Ventaglio in Puna Cana

De Leon who in those years was received with the Degree of Arts and Advertising from the University of Santo Domingo APEC starts selecting the name of the company. Since the headquarters would be established in the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo was born on behalf of Colonial Tour and Travel and immediately De Leon begins the design of the logo and slogan of the company and raises the image of the company.

During 1993, the licensing of travel agencies were prohibited due to saturation in the market AAVV & Events and the company already formed an alliance with Milly's Travel temporal becoming "Colonial Tour and Travel by Milly'e Travel" to be released tourism patents in 1995.

The company starts with a small office in Punta Cana, representing the Italian Tour Operator Viaggi today Condor Condor Tour later that year the company became a correspondent Turisanda another major Italian tour operator with a huge operation in Puerto Plata and company had the need to open its second branch this province in the north to provide greater logistical support to its customers. In 1995 Colonial Tour and Travel acquires the license of tourism and its total independence from Milly's Travel, moving the headquarters to the Colonial Zone of Santo Domingo where he is now located. But the company remains only as a representation company closed to the public until now.

More and more tour operators were added to the customer portfolio Colonial Tour and Travel. In 1997 the office opens in Las Terrenas in Samana hotel in Cocoa Beach where 85% of guests in this hotel were represented mainly by Colonial Tour Tour operator now called Orovacanze Italturist.
